Graduation Requirements

*Students completing an approved 10 credit sequence in Arts or CTE are only required to complete 2 credits of a second language and are not required to take the regents in a Language other than English in order to receive a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation. However, they must still meet the requirements for the total number of units of credit (44).

Advanced Placement Policy

Students must submit an application to apply for all Advanced Placement classes. Enrollment is based on teacher recommendation, grades and student work samples.

Community Service Requirement

100 hours from 9th to 12th (recommended 25 hours should be completed and documented annually). Documentation should be submitted to guidance counselors upon completion.

Dropped Class Procedure

Students must meet with their Guidance counselor to inquire about dropping a class. Classes can only be dropped with guidance counselor approval and within the first three weeks of each semester.

Tutoring

Individual class instructors will post their tutoring schedules. All teachers provide tutoring after school during 37.5 minutes. Saturday Academy tutoring is available in Math, English, Science, US history and Global History from 9:00am to 12:00pm throughout the school year. 9 to 9 Regent exam preparation is available for two Saturdays prior to scheduled Regents exams in January and June.
