Working Papers

All students are required to secure Working Papers prior to employment. All students between the ages of 14 – 17 need Working papers for employment. Students should bring a Certificate of Physical Fitness from a physician, a copy of their Social Security Card and a copy of their birth certificate to their Guidance Counselor.

Medical Services

Brooklyn Plaza Medical Center is Benjamin Banneker Academy’s school based health center. It is located on the lower level and is open daily during regular school hours. A Registered Nurse, dental services and a full-time experienced social worker is available to support all students that register. Students that register with the clinic are able to obtain physicals, vaccinations and other medical services.
